Why are there spots or specks on the paper?

Paper is a natural product made by mixing wood pulp with water and even with filtering, tiny particles can still remain trapped in the paper fibers creating slight imperfections embedded in it. This is just the nature of the  papermaking process.  The marks may appear in the same spot or randomly throughout the paper.
