Cards & Pockets is a woman-owned, American, family-run business operating from Taunton, Massachusetts. We proudly create and assemble our paper products in-house—nothing is assembled overseas.
We ship worldwide from our New England facility.
Processing Times
Shipping times are in addition to the processing times listed below.
Processing time depends on the type of order, the number of finishing services selected, and the season. During our peak season (January–June), processing may require an additional 1–2 business days.
Standard Stocked Products
Pocket invitations, blank cards, envelopes, cardstock, and other regularly stocked items typically process within 1–4 business days, although many orders ship sooner.
Printed & Lasered Products
Orders containing printed or laser-cut items generally process within 7 business days, depending on order volume and complexity.
Please Note:
- Printed and laser-cut orders may require an additional 1–3 business days for file review and approval.
- Orders with uploaded artwork cannot move into production until files are approved.
Printed Acrylic Products
Printed acrylic items generally require 3–7 business days for processing.
Please Note:
- Acrylic print and laser orders may also require an additional 1–3 business days for file review and approval.
Custom Orders
Special custom order products typically require 5–20 business days depending on the complexity of the project.

Add-On Finishing Services
Orders containing finishing services such as:
- Metallic ink
- Hand torn edges
- Mounting
- Corner rounding
- Scoring
- Grommets
may require an additional 1–5 business days.
Large Orders
Large quantity orders (500+ pieces) may require an additional 2–3 business days.

Shipping Options & Delivery Times
Cards & Pockets offers discounted shipping rates through UPS and USPS. Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on package weight and destination.
Viewing shipping rates during checkout does not finalize your order—you may still modify or cancel your cart before purchase.
Please Note:
- Shipping times are in addition to total processing time.
- Shipping costs are estimates and may change as carriers update their pricing.
- Shipping times listed by UPS and USPS are estimates and may occasionally vary by ±1 business day.
Standard Shipping
Bulk orders ship via your selected USPS or UPS shipping method.
If you place an order over the weekend using Ground or Priority shipping, many customers receive their orders by the following weekend depending on location.
Express Shipping
Need something quickly? We do offer expedited shipping options.
EXPRESS shipping is overnight to most locations, though some destinations may require 2 business days.
If you have an urgent next-day need, please email us before 12:00 PM EST, and we will do our best to help.
Peak Holiday Shipping Delays
During the holiday season (November & December), UPS and USPS may experience delays of 1–4 additional business days depending on shipping volume.
Services most commonly affected include:
- UPS Ground
- USPS Ground Advantage
- USPS Priority Mail
Example:
A shipment that normally takes 2 business days may take 3–5 business days during peak periods.
UPS Ground Transit Map
Because we ship from New England, many nearby states receive UPS Ground deliveries within 1 business day. In some cases, expedited shipping may not be necessary.
Receiving Your Package
Signature Requirements
Cards & Pockets does not require a signature for delivery. However, UPS and USPS may require someone to be present for delivery. If nobody is available, the package may be held at the nearest carrier facility for pickup for a limited time.
If the package is not claimed, it may be returned to Cards & Pockets. Re-shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Carrier Delivery Days
- USPS delivers Monday–Saturday
- UPS delivers Monday–Friday
UPS Saturday delivery may be available for an additional fee. Please contact us to verify availability.
Signature Waiver / Shipper Release
You may request a “signature waiver” or “shipper release” in the order notes during checkout. This authorizes the carrier to leave the package at your door or another designated location. Each carrier charges a fee for signature waivers. Contact customer service if a signature waiver is needed.

International Shipping
We proudly ship worldwide.
Duties & Customs Fees
All customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and related fees are the responsibility of the customer.
International carriers may collect these charges upon delivery.
We do not undervalue merchandise or alter customs documentation under any circumstances.
Canada
UPS shipments to Canada conveniently collect import taxes during checkout, so no additional fees are typically due upon delivery.
Sample orders shipped via USPS generally do not incur taxes upon arrival.
United Kingdom & Australia
Import taxes and duties may be collected by the courier upon delivery (excluding most sample orders).
Currency
All prices on our website are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Order Changes, Shipping Upgrades & Cancellations
Can I Change My Order?
As of 2024, we are no longer able to process order modifications once an order has been placed.
Any requested changes are treated as:
- A cancellation
- A new replacement order
Standard cancellation policies apply.
What Changes Can Be Made?
The only exceptions are:
- Shipping address updates
- Shipping speed upgrades
These requests must be submitted while the order is still processing.
Once an order is on the shipping belt or has shipped, changes can no longer be made.
Can I Upgrade My Shipping Speed?
Yes—shipping upgrades may be requested while your order is still processing.
Shipping FAQs
Can I Combine Multiple Orders?
Unfortunately, due to the many moving parts in production and fulfillment, we cannot combine multiple orders into one shipment.
Each order ships separately.
Why Am I Only Seeing Limited Shipping Options?
We have identified an occasional issue with zip codes beginning with “0” not displaying all available shipping methods correctly.
Try reentering your zip code. If the issue continues, please contact our Customer Service Team.
Will I Be Notified When My Order Ships?
Yes! Once your order is packed and ready to leave our facility, you will receive:
- A shipping confirmation email from Cards & Pockets
- A tracking email from ShipStation later that day
Please make sure your email address is entered correctly during checkout.
How Do I Find My Tracking Number?
Tracking information can be found:
- In your shipping confirmation email
- In the ShipStation tracking email
- In your Order History if you created an account
If you cannot locate your tracking information, please contact Customer Service.
Can I Use My Own Shipper Number?
At this time, we do not allow customers to use personal UPS or USPS account numbers.
We have negotiated discounted carrier rates and pass those savings directly on to our customers.
Do You Offer White Label or Blind Shipping?
We do not offer true white labeling. However, if you add “blind ship” in your order notes during checkout:
- “Cards & Pockets” will be removed from the shipping label
- The packing invoice will not be included
Mailing Recommendation
For mailed invitations, we highly recommend requesting a hand-cancel service from your local post office rather than machine processing. Hand-canceling allows postal staff to handle your invitations with greater care.
