What Does "Mounting" Mean?
Mounting refers to the process of assembling and attaching your custom paper items to a base or companion item. Our mounting services include (but are not limited to):

Attaching invitations to mats or pockets

Adhering envelope liners to envelopes
-
Mounting printed monogram squares to monogram backers
-
Mounting any size printed card to a custom backer
To request this service:

If you don’t see a mounting option available for a particular item, don’t worry! You can still request this service by adding our Mounting Services Add-On to your cart.
Please note: Mounting services will add 1–2 additional business days to the overall order and processing times.
Can You Mount Translucent Vellum?
We can print translucent vellum flat cards and envelope liners. However, due to the transparent nature of vellum, adhesive or tape may show through, making clean mounting difficult.
For this reason, we do not offer in-house mounting for vellum products.
We highly recommend ordering a sample or printed proof before placing your full order to test out at home.
- (Note: “Vellum White” is a blush-tone matte cardstock, not translucent vellum.)

What Adhesive Do You Recommend for DIY Mounting?
We recommend using Zip Dry Glue for mounting invitations and mats to pockets. Double-sided tape is preferred for mounting envelope liners.
Why Zip Dry Glue?

Sets in ~10 seconds, allowing time to adjust and align

Won’t wrinkle or buckle paper if used correctly
-
One bottle can cover approx. 75–100 mounts (size dependent)
Tips for Best Results:

Apply a thin, continuous bead of glue around the border

Avoid overuse to prevent seepage
-
If glue seeps out, wait until dry and gently rub it away
-
Always recap after use to prevent drying

Does Mounting Include the Cost of the Envelope?
No. Envelopes and envelope liners must be purchased separately.
When you select mounting for envelope liners, we will adhere the liners to the envelopes—whether they are printed or blank. The mounting fee only covers the assembly service, not the products themselves.
Envelope Liner Sizing & Assembling At Home
Our liners are sized to match our envelopes perfectly (e.g., A7 euro flap liner fits the A7 euro flap envelope). Liners are tailored to fit Cards & Pockets envelopes and may not be compatible with other brands. Samples are recommended.
To assemble a liner:

Position just under the gum line
-
Avoid letting the liner reach the bottom of the envelope—it may interfere with folding

Use double-sided tape or a small amount of liquid glue
